Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning in Lake Forest, IL — Three Rooms and a Four-Seater

About this job

The house sits on Estate Ln E, and the request was straightforward: three carpeted rooms plus the main sectional piece in the living area, all in one October visit. The customer had been pricing the work by the room rather than by square footage, so we walked each space first, confirmed the count, and agreed on the three rooms and the four-seater before anything was unpacked. Furniture placement and traffic patterns were noted room by room so the heaviest-used lanes got attention first.

Carpet came first. Each of the three rooms was worked as its own area, with the walking lanes and doorway approaches given extra passes before the full floor was cleaned and groomed in one direction. Working room to room keeps the hoses moving in a predictable path and limits how much the household has to step around.

The four-seater sectional piece was handled separately with upholstery tools sized for cushions, arms and the seat backs, which lets us control how much moisture goes into the fabric. Seat faces and arm tops take the most body contact, so those got the closest work. The total for the three rooms and the sectional piece came to $500.
