Why Empty Rooms Clean Best

No furniture, no shortcuts

In a furnished home we clean around sofas and beds and move only the light pieces. In an empty room there is nothing to work around, so the wand covers the whole floor edge to edge: under where the bed stood, along the baseboards and into the corners that normally never get touched.

The result is a uniform finish that reads as clean in listing photos and at a walk-through. It is the same crew and equipment behind our carpet cleaning service, in the easiest conditions we ever get.

  • Whole-room extraction. Wall to wall, including the spots that are always under furniture.

  • Edges and corners. Baseboard lines and doorway soil are reached without moving anything.

  • Traffic lanes in one pass. Worn paths between rooms are pre-treated and extracted end to end.

  • Even drying. Open rooms dry in 2-4 hours with air movers, up to 6 hours for heavy soil.

What Is Included

Every move-out cleaning, step by step

The same six steps as any carpet job, with nothing in the way.

    Inspection

    The technician walks the unit, counts the areas and stairs, checks for pet urine with a UV light and confirms the price.

  2. 02

    Pre-treatment

    A pre-spray is applied to the whole floor and dwells on traffic lanes, edges and spots.

  3. 03

    Hot water extraction

    Truck-mounted hot water extraction rinses the pile and pulls the soil and the water back out.

  4. 04

    Spot work

    Stubborn spots get individual treatment. Urine that reached the pad is quoted separately first.

  5. 05

    Grooming

    The pile is groomed in one direction so it dries lifted and even, with no wand marks in the photos.

  6. 06

    Walk-through

    Whoever is letting us in walks the unit with the technician before we leave. The invoice is emailed from our booking system.

Move-out carpet cleaning cost

Move-out cleaning uses the same flat schedule as every carpet job: priced per area, with stairs counted on top. The full price list shows every rate and add-on. Not happy? Call us within 7 days and we will re-clean the area or refund your payment.

Worked example: a two-bedroom apartment

Two bedrooms are two areas, $180. The hallway is a third area, $50, for a total of $230. One flight of 13 carpeted stairs adds $62.40, for $292.40. A studio is one area, $100, billed at the appointment minimum: $180 in the suburbs or $220 inside Chicago ZIP codes.

Scheduling And Paperwork

Keys on Friday? Here is how it works

Same-week appointments, same-day when available. Tell us the date the keys are due and we will work back from it.

  • Weekday hours. Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Morning slots suit empty units: the carpet is dry before an afternoon walk-through.

  • Access. If a leasing agent, building staff or a neighbor will let us in, add their name and number when you book.

  • Your invoice arrives by email. It comes from our booking system, itemized by area and add-on, ready to forward to a landlord, property manager or closing attorney.

  • Pet urine from a previous tenant. Surface cleaning does not remove urine that reached the pad. The technician checks with a UV light and quotes treatment before starting; see our cat and dog urine odor removal service.

  • Deodorizer and protector. Deodorizer is $15 per area and carpet protector is $15 per area, a sensible add-on before a moving crew walks through.
