My Carpet Cleaning is the trading name of Premier Rug Cleaning LLC. We have cleaned carpets, area rugs, upholstery and tile for Chicagoland homes and businesses since 1998, and the company is still family-owned. Our technicians dispatch from five offices, so the crew that arrives at your door is based near you and knows the buildings, parking and traffic of its own area.
Every office keeps the same hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 to 19:00, Saturday 9:00 to 15:00, closed Sunday. Same-week appointments, same-day when available. Each office page lists the towns and neighborhoods it covers, its Google reviews and recent jobs nearby.

Our technicians are IICRC-certified, and every carpet job uses truck-mounted hot water extraction: the machine stays in the van, hot water and cleaning solution are injected into the carpet under pressure, and the soil and water are pulled straight back out into the truck's recovery tank. Nothing is left behind but clean, lightly damp fiber. The job runs in six steps, the same way at every office.
Inspection
We check the fiber type, soil level and every spot, and confirm exactly which rooms and areas you want cleaned.
Prep
We vacuum, move light furniture and set corner guards so hoses never touch your walls or trim.
Pre-treatment
A pre-spray goes down on traffic lanes and spots and is given time to dwell, loosening soil before the rinse.
Hot water extraction
The truck-mounted rinse flushes the carpet and pulls the loosened soil and water straight back out to the van.
Spot work and add-ons
Stubborn spots are re-treated, and protector or deodorizer is applied if you chose them.
Grooming, speed-dry and walk-through
We groom the pile, set air movers, and walk every area with you so you approve the work before we leave.
Carpets dry in 2-4 hours and upholstery in 4-8 hours. Rugs washed at our plant take 5-10 days. The carpet cleaning page walks through each step in more detail.

Specialty pages
Per-area prices, published in full
Carpet cleaning is priced per area. An area is one room or open space up to 300 sq ft: the first area is $100, two areas are $180, and each additional area is $50. Every appointment has a $180 minimum in the suburbs and a $220 minimum inside Chicago ZIP codes. Carpeted stairs are $4.80 per step, and protector, deodorizer and stain treatment are $15 per area each.
Upholstery is priced per piece (a sofa is $130, a sectional $180), tile and grout is $1 per sq ft, and in-home rug cleaning is $1.50 per sq ft. Every number is on the pricing page, and the online calculator totals a job from the same list. On the day, the technician confirms the area count with you before any work starts, so the invoice matches what you approved.

Two rug drop-off locations
Wall-to-wall carpet is cleaned in your home. Area rugs can be cleaned in place at $1.50 per sq ft, or hand-washed at our plant, which starts at $3 per sq ft for synthetic rugs and $5 per sq ft for wool, with silk and antique rugs quoted after inspection. Plant turnaround is 5-10 days, with free pickup and delivery. If you would rather bring the rug yourself, drop it off at either location.
