Mattress Cleaning

Mattresses are quoted by size when you book, and we confirm the price before we start. The $180 appointment minimum applies ($220 inside Chicago ZIP codes), so a mattress on its own is billed at the minimum. Most customers pair it with a sofa, chairs or a couple of carpet areas on the same visit.

With the same method we use on upholstery: a thorough dry vacuum, a fabric-safe pre-treatment on the sleeping surface and any spots, then hot water extraction with upholstery tools. Hot water extraction removes embedded dirt and allergens without saturating the fabric, and we use low-moisture, fabric-safe methods that effectively clean and sanitize without over-wetting.

Upholstery dries in 4-8 hours, and a mattress is no different. Leave it bare with the room ventilated and make the bed once it is dry to the touch. A morning appointment means the bed is ready that night.

In most cases, yes. Urine soaks through the fabric into the padding, so it is treated where it sits rather than on the surface. The technician inspects the spot, tells you what to expect and quotes the treatment before starting. The sooner you call after an accident, the better.

The standard cleaning covers the sleeping surface and the sides. If you would like the underside cleaned, or a fabric-covered box spring, tell us when you book so the technician allows the time, and we will quote it with the mattress.

There is no fixed schedule. Most customers book one when the sofa or carpets are being cleaned, after a spill, an accident or an illness, or before a guest room is used. Vacuuming the mattress when you change the sheets keeps it fresher in between.
