Work began with a pre-inspection of the traffic lanes and the soiled areas so nothing was missed once the equipment was running. A commercial prespray went down across the carpet tile, with the coffee spills spotted individually before extraction. Hot-water extraction followed, room by room through the six offices, then the hallway, then the second-floor lobby. The entry mats were cleaned the same way.
After the extraction passes, remaining spots received post-treatment, and our tech walked the space with the facility contact to review each floor before packing up. Carpet tile over a hard subfloor tends to give back its moisture quickly, which suits an office that needs to be usable again. The total for the 1,175 square feet, six rooms, hallway, lobby and mats came to $320.
